How the Workshop Flows

Discover
The workshop begins with a card-based activity where small groups trace the causes and effects of climate change. Guided by a facilitator, they build a visual chain of connections using real scientific data. This collaborative process helps demystify the science, making the bigger picture of the climate crisis clearer, more tangible and rooted in systems thinking.

Connect
Once the climate chain is built, we pause to ask: how did that feel? Participants often name feelings like concern, motivation or confusion. These reflections are shared in a circle, allowing space for vulnerability and validation. It’s a chance to recognise that climate learning isn’t just intellectual, it’s emotional too. And we’re in it together.

Act
The final part is about action, not as a burden but as a bridge. In a grounded group discussion, participants explore realistic next steps at personal, community and systemic levels. From home habits to public advocacy, the session surfaces ideas that feel relevant and doable. Everyone leaves with one small but clear step they’re ready to take.
