Pranshu Patel

Pranshu is a climate educator and climate justice advocate passionate about bringing participatory tools to climate action in India. He holds an MSc in Global Environmental Politics and Policy from Birkbeck, University of London, where his work focused on critical thinking, compassion and systems thinking.
His research has explored climate change knowledge in India’s education system, uncovering the gaps in how climate issues are taught and understood. Later, his postgraduate dissertation examined climate refugees in EU migration policies through a postcolonial lens, a project that deepened his understanding of power, justice and inequality in global climate governance.
Professionally, Pranshu has worked in the UK’s sustainability sector, focusing on energy and transport decarbonisation. It was during his time in London that he discovered his passion for Climate Fresk facilitation, an experience that eventually led him to build Climate Undone back home in India.
He is a member of YOUNGO, the UNFCCC’s youth constituency, and Young Indians, a network by the Confederation of Indian Industry.
