Heeta Lakhani

Heeta Lakhani is a climate educator and practitioner with over a decade of experience championing youth leadership in climate policy and action. As Founder & Managing Director of The ClimAct Initiative (India), she builds programmes that equip young people and vulnerable groups to engage confidently in local climate solutions and intergovernmental processes. Heeta holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies from TERI University; she first encountered the UNFCCC process at COP21 (2015), served as Global Focal Point for YOUNGO (2020–2021), and co-founded the Youth Negotiators Academy in 2022.

Pranshu Patel

Pranshu is a climate educator and climate justice advocate, passionate about bringing participatory tools to climate action in India. He holds an MSc in Global Environmental Politics and Policy from Birkbeck, University of London, where his work focused on climate migration and geopolitics of climate change.

His research has explored climate change knowledge in India’s education system, uncovering the gaps in how climate issues are taught and understood.

Professionally, Pranshu has worked in the UK’s sustainability sector, focusing on energy and transport decarbonisation. It was during his time in London that he discovered his passion for Climate Fresk facilitation, an experience that eventually led him to build Climate Undone.
